The Marriott near the Burbank airport in Los Angeles, CA is an excellent venue for meetings and small conferences. They have a large conference wing of the hotel that is suitable for bigger conferences. There are also smaller, boardroom type suites that are great for meeting of 2-12 people. The hotel staff is extremely professional and helpful. Any issue that arises is dealt with in an expedient manner. The rooms are a little bit on the pricey side and that's the main reason for a score of 4 rather than a 5.
