I first discovered my passion for planning special occasions in 2004 when I hosted my sister’s baby shower. After seeing the outcome and the look of amazement on my sister’s face, it was then I realized I loved planning special events. I continued to plan my niece’s birthday parties, and for her first birthday I created a Circus theme, that left everyone feeling like they had just been to a Barnum & Bailey Circus. For Jaidyn’s second birthday, I brought Sesame Street to life. I have a unique talent and vision for any and all events that I plan.
I became a Certified Event Planner in February of 2010 and formed my own company - One Night Plan, your premier event planning service and production solutions. I have also worked as a freelance Event Planner in my past corporate career. After my family and friends witnessed a few of my exquisite events, they all started calling upon me to plan their special occasions. I possess over seven years of experience of planning all sorts of events. As President of my company, I am responsible for all communication, event design and planning, business development, client consulting, research & business-to-business relationships and solutions. I have found that finding a good florist and caterer is easy because of the internet but finding a florist and caterer that work well together to pull off a special event is always a challenge. It takes more than finding a few key puzzle pieces, as an Event Planner it is my job to make the pieces fit together to create a beautiful picture.
My passion for event planning shines through my creative side, and brings out endless imagination for any design concept. My taste is impeccable and my style keeps up with the latest trends while I still manage to bring your vision to fruition. Clients are drawn to my take charge but calm demeanor and my attention to detail which creates an event one won’t forget.
So whether it’s just planning a simple birthday party or planning a grand wedding reception from menu to entertainment, all events are handled with my precise, meticulous manner. I possess extensive knowledge of vendor resources that allow me to find the best of everything available for my clients. I have been involved with designing numerous events such as Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Bridals Showers, Engagement Parties, Corporate Events i.e. Holiday Parties and other events that warrants a celebration. You name it, I can design it. The most valuable thing that I take on as an Event Planner, is to make the planning process fun and relaxing for you. I handle the planning, budgeting and coordinating so that you can focus on the exciting parts of your “One Night”.
Each and every event that I plan will be different and beautiful in its own unique way.
