Butterfly Pavilion provides a unique space for meetings, celebrations, and parties throughout the year. Our 2,000 square foot ballroom has hardwood floors and with large windows overlooking our patio, beautiful Discovery Garden, and Jefferson County Open Space. The ballroom accommodates 150 seated guests or 200 guests cocktail reception style, with additional space on the patio for 100 guests. The ballroom is equipped with wireless Internet, a podium, two whiteboards, and two pull down screens. The facility also includes an internal sound system including a handheld wireless microphone to use for presentations or toasts (ballroom only), with capability to connect your MP3 Player/iPod to pipe music throughout the ballroom and patio. The residential-sized warming kitchen provides a great spot for preparing box lunches, buffets or a served meal. Events held during business hours receive access to our exciting hands-on exhibits at a group discount rate; after-hours events receive one hour of private access into our Wings of the Tropics Conservatory for butterfly viewing.
