The Cable Center provides education and information to the educational community, the cable industry, and the public, while celebrating cable’s contributions to society. The Cable Center is comprised of five core components working together to create programs that preserve, document, demonstrate, educate, and communicate the contributions of the cable industry.
The Cable Center was created to educate, to remember, and to influence. It’s both a destination and launching pad. It’s part repository, part incubator. It’s a busy, active environment where the cable industry, the education community, and the general public go to learn, to advance their careers, and to enhance their understanding of cable telecommunications.
The Cable Center’s seven meeting rooms are appointed with state-of-the-art presentation equipment, enabling participation from a global audience as well as sophisticated visual aids. Built-in video conferencing capabilities, advanced projection systems, and convenient galley kitchens make The Center a world-class conference facility, perfect for small and large group meetings. Just as impressive as their technical features are the views from many meeting rooms—whether of the Front Range or the copper-clad DU campus, you may find yourself inspired by more than the presentation at hand. For grand receptions and lively galas, choose the multi-storied, glass-encased Great Hall. Captivate your audience with our state-of-the-art audio/video capabilities in the Center Theater, Boardroom, or Executive Briefing Room. Choose classroom or lecture-style arrangements for the Distance Learning Studio or Demonstration Forum. Just steps away, enjoy the tranquility of the outdoor gardens, amphitheater, and fountain plaza. Whether you are planning an intimate meeting or a gala awards ceremony, The Cable Center has the right space to match your needs. All Center spaces are available separately or in combination to match an infinite range of activities.
