The Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center is located in one of the best locations in Washington, DC. There really is no need to stray from the Center because it provides the comfort and accommodation that any conference would appreciate. First there is the hotel rooms, which have a unique style due to the fact that it was converted from residence halls. The decor is updated and stylish and the housekeeping staff keeps the rooms very clean and sanitary. The furniture is modern and very comfortable. Guests of the Hotel also have access to the fitness center, which is a nice touch for conference guests. My favorite part of the center is the Faculty Club restaurant. I only ate from the buffet rather than the menu, but the food that was available at the buffet was amazing and plentiful. The quality and type of food available was surprising and would be suitable for a conference with guests that have diverse dietary requirements. The benefit of having the Center annexed to Georgetown University is that conference attendants also have access to the food court and cafes that serve the college community, including a Starbucks that was often sought during the breaks. Most importantly, the meeting rooms are beautiful and can accommodate a large number of attendees. Meeting rooms can be reserved in traditional conference rooms or in the large and ballrooms. The meeting rooms are well configured and allows for seamless presentations. Catering accommodations within the meeting rooms are excellent and the customer service of staff is very professional. The location of the Center is really great because you're only steps away from some of the best shops and restaurants in Georgetown. It is very easy for guests If you're conference coordinator who is searching for a location that provides great accommodations for a number of attendees, the Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center is a great option.
