The Science Center of Iowa features flexible rental spaces, professional catering and private access to SCI experiences and the Blank IMAX Dome Theater. From an intimate dinner under the stars in SCI’s Star Theater to a full facility rental for a corporate outing, the Science Center of Iowa is the perfect venue! SCI's Blank IMAX Dome Theater is the first IMAX Theater in central Iowa and the most advanced IMAX theater in the state. In this 216-seat theater, participants will truly experience the big picture. Larger than life images of unsurpassed clarity and color are projected on a six-story domed screen and surround the viewer. Combined with a state-of-the-art 12,000 watt digital sound system, SCI's Blank IMAX Dome Theater offers a cinematic experience unlike any other.

The John Deere Adventure Theater hosts large scale demonstrations, live performances, and serves as a forum for current discussions on science and technology.
