Grace, a beautiful restaurant in Portland, Maine, has been hosting live dinner jazz on Wednesday nights. Standard Issue plays at least once a month and their sound is the perfect accompaniment while enjoying a relaxing evening. We look forward to having them back in January and beyond.
"A wonderful complement to any event!"

Standard Issue was a wonderful complement to our Art fund-raising event in September. This jazz trio performed classic pieces from America's great songwriters, setting the stage for a relaxed and fun-filled evening. The musicians were among the best that I have heard locally. I would strongly recommend the group for any event, meeting, or function. Rob, the director of the band, was extremely professional and accommodating.
"Great Smooth Jazz! "

I first saw this group at the Maine Mall on black Friday. After waking up at 2 in the morning hearing some casual Christmas songs was just what I needed to end a crazy day of shopping. The music was wonderfully satisfying and pleasant to listen to. I would definitely recommend Standard Issue to anyone looking for a great jazz band to enhance any occasion.

Thanks so much for the wonderful music. It added a great deal to our gathering (the South Portland Comprehensive Plan Public Forum). I commend you for all the charity events you do. Truly the addition of your group to an event changes the atmosphere to one of calmness and professionalism. I heard so many folks comment on the caliber of the music and the group playing at our Forum that at times I wondered if they came just for the entertainment. I hope you continue and the group flourishes. Thank you so very much.

"Your presence really made a difference."

I know I thanked you, Michael and Chris Saturday, but I wanted you to know that your presence really made a difference for the family. After scattering Mary’s ashes, we went to DiMillo’s for lunch and all of the family and friends commented not only on the generosity of the band participating in the Celebration but how absolutely delightful and perfect the music choices were. I just wanted to be sure you, Michael and Chris knew how appreciative the family is with your final gift to Mary.
Please know if I ever hear of someone looking for a jazz trio, I will tell them to look no further than Standard Issue.
