Nothing focuses attention or makes your event as memorable as the skirl of the pipes provided by a kilted piper in formal highland dress. Hal Cummings can provide a special Celtic touch by playing the BAGPIPE at your special occasion - whether or not it is one of the following: Wedding, Corporate Event, Store Opening, Product Launch, Sports Event, Seasonal Event, Anniversary, Birthday Party, Family Gathering, Funerall, or Memorial Service. Whether you are planning a casual beach wedding, a formal dinner/ceremony, or a solemn funeral with full military honors, Hal has the appropriate attire and can assist you in selecting music that will suit the occasion. Currently, Hal serves Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, and plays as a member and occasional soloist with the Chesapeake Caledonian Pipes and Drums. He recently played the pipes at a Vice Admiral's retirement in the Navy Yard in Washington D.C., and at a Program Office Formal Dining Out at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Hal plays pipes in Oloughlin's Pub in Arnold, MD on St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve. He also appears regularly with Seamus Kennedy in Harry Brown’s (Annapolis), and will perform with Seamus for a Christmas Concert this year in Severna Park MD. Hal also regularly appears at Old Bowie Town Grill, Killarney House (Davidsonville), Irish Channel (Crofton), Stan & Joe’s (Annapolis), Middleton’s Tavern (Annapolis) , McGarvey’s (Annapolis), Griffins Grill (Arnold), Old Town Bowie Grille, and Tir Na Nog (Baltimore).
