“Travel no further than Boston’s Fort Point Channel to enjoy a trip around the world. Grand Circle Gallery is the latest exhibition space to open in this hip enclave of artist lofts, and features vintage travel posters from the Golden Age of Travel.”
Grand Circle Gallery is a unique and intimate space, distinct from conventional rental venues and conference centers.
Established in 2010, the Gallery is one of the newest and most exciting event spaces in the city of Boston.
Grand Circle Gallery is located in the trendy Fort point Channel neighborhood—an area that in the early 1800s was simply swampland and tidal marshes. Housed in a historic building (1887) that was once home to the confectionery company that patented America’s first candy machine, Grand Circle Gallery reflects a new era in Fort Point Channel’s history—one of art and culture, fine restaurants and relaxed cafes.
It is a beautifully designed space, with original exposed brick walls, contemporary lighting, and the modern amenities necessary to ensure a memorable social gathering or seamless corporate function.
Rotating travel-themed exhibits feature stunning original vintage travel posters that celebrate the “Golden Age of Travel” and serve as an elegant backdrop to your affair. The extraordinary posters will transport you back to a time when travel was glamorous: a time when the luxury of the journey rivaled the ultimate destination. Many of the posters in the collection pre-date WWII and reflect the Modernist and Art deco styles popular during the period. The setting is unmatched.
