The Griffin Museuem of Photography is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the understanding of and appreciation for historic and contemporary photography. The Museum, a replica of an old fieldstone grist mill, appropriately reflects the historic and the contemporary. Its handsome barnwood and fieldstone architecture is reminiscent of New England's rich heritage; the lazy water wheel of the gristmill a reminder of the many old mills powered by the Aberjona River as it flowed through Winchester. The Griffin Museum, with its spacious gallery, interesting photographic exhibitions and its idyllic setting on Judkins Pond in Winchester, Massachusetts is unique among local function facilities. It is well suited for business meetings, cocktail receptions, and full catered affairs. Wedding receptions, surprise birthday parties, christenings, bar mitzvahs, and even weddings take place at the Arthur Griffin Center. Overlooking the tranquil Judkins Pond and surrounded by manicured lawns, The Griffin Center is ideal for that very special occasion. An experience your guests will thank you for!
