Last Spring I attended a conference through work that was for managers and how to work with your employees. I live in Colorado but they held the conference in Texas because the company I work for has several locations. They chose the Cooper Guest Lodge,Hotel,Conference Center, and Spa. When I heard I was going to Texas I was not happy but I quickly changed my tune when I got to the facility. It was beautiful. It is modern and classy and simply amazing. It is set on a wooded area on many acres of private land. The rooms that we got were spacious and more then comfortable. We used several rooms for the convention itself and they were all well equipped and set up perfect for our meetings and different things that we were doing. We used one theater style room and two that were like very large classrooms. They were wonderful and the employees had them set up perfectly. The served us breakfast and lunch buffet style and the food was great and there was plenty of it. Any question we had while staying at and using the facility were answered quickly and the staff was friendly and professional. I would be happy to go back to this facility to stay the weekend with my wife or for another convention. We didn't have to pay out of pocket but from what I understand it was a great price for what we received. I would highly recommend this place for meetings or anything else especially if you are close to the area.
